Ursula is thrilled to be playing Shelby in Steel Magnolias! Directed by Tony nominee Sally Mayes (who also appeared in the Broadway production) with assistance from Phil Geoffrey Bond, the show features Maia Guest as Annelle, Sally Mayes as Truvy, Liz Keifer as Clairee, Jennifer Lee Andrews as M'Lynn, and Julie Heckert as Oiser. The show opens December 1st and runs through December 17th at the Philipstown Depot Theater. If you're in NYC the theater can be easily accessed by Metro North via the Hudson Line. The former Garrison train station was converted into this lovely theater. When you come you may recognize the building as it's featured in the movie "Hello Dolly." Sci-Fi short "Tragic Consequence" by Joseph Villapaz of Mantis Eagle productions was released to the festivals and has won a number of awards including Best Sci-Fi in the "Festigous International Film Festival" and Best Indie Film in both the "New York Film Awards" and "Los Angeles Cinefest." The film is about an elite assassin from The Magnate sent on a mission to capture a hostile alien gathering intelligence on Earth. Ursula plays hostile alien Skylar Zane. Ursula was nominated Best Supporting Actress by the Actors Awards for her work on this film.
"Thank You for Coming" wrapped shooting and will be released shortly! Ursula plays Pumpkin the loveably ditzy stripper. The show tells the story of Ron, a man who inherits his uncle's strip club. Thank You for Coming was produced by Ron Barba (8th Ave LLC) and is directed by William Dean.
